I’ve found a free email list cleaner you can use as per my ‘Don’t Just Delete Those Junk Emails‘ post. Why do we need to clean lists? Simple! We don’t want to be accused of spamming. I use this free email list cleaner to make sure I don’t repeatedly send out invites to join my main weekly digest email list. I’m trying to keep my weekly digest 100% op tin only so I know people on the list are already interested in my blog and new MLM programs.
First go here and download the Npust Email List Manager. It’s a small file and sets up in seconds. It’s easy to use to. In addition to the notepad file set up for adding emails from within the junk emails (eg: harvestedlist) you need to open and save 2 other notepad files, eg ‘filterlist’ and ‘cleanlist’.
1/ To clean your first list of ‘harvested’ email addresses open the Npust email list cleaner, click on ‘next’ then select the ‘rearrange list’ option and the ‘remove duplicates on sort’ option and click ‘next’. Use the browse option to select the list of harvested emails to be cleaned and click ‘next’. Select the ‘cleanlist’ file again using the browse option. Click ‘next’ and select one of the options, I just go with the default alphabetical option. Click the ‘next’ button twice and your done! You can import your clean list into your mailing list manager and send them an invite to your main subscription list.
2/ Next copy & paste the contents of your ‘cleanlist’ into your ‘filterlist’ file and save. You can either delete the contents of your ‘harvestedlist’ or set up a new one for more harvested emails. Every time we clean our new / next list of harvested emails we will also run the Npust ‘filter’ option to remove any email addresses on your ‘filterlist’ from your new list of harvested emails. you’ve previously sent invites too so as not to spam anybody. Now you’re done for the day with your free email list cleaner!
Just repeat 1 and 2 every time you’ve built up a list of new email addresses.
